Woo hoo, another purple weekend. Day 44 today. I spent yesterday busting concrete and moving rocks. I am busting up the footing of the old garage to prepare for the new one. We are planning our anniversary vacation. It is going to be wonderful.

Well, I seem to have voluntarily taken on the task of maintaining the list on the 100 day challenge thread. We'll see how wise a move that was.

Another great weekend. 53 days. I spent Sunday using a jack hammer to break up concrete on the old garage foundation. My arms are a little stiff today. I just updated the lists on the 100 day challenge thread. I will need to ask for someone to cover the list when I go on vacation on the 18th. I have considered two new things to enhance my recovery. One is to prepare ahead of time responses to temptation circumstances. For example to prepare the mental response "Thank G-d I don't ogle at women" whenever I encounter a lady. Then practice that response which will prevent inappropriate behavior and thoughts. (Not that that has been a problem for me particularly) The other thing I was considering was to create a positive habit of helping one person each day. Hopefully without their knowledge of it. I was thinking of calling them "white" days and keeping track of them. So unlike the other counts of day of not doing bad things, this would be counting days of doing positive things. I should be able to do that "1dayatatime".

54 days. I have been giving more thought to the "white days" notion. I am thinking of developing the idea more and perhaps posting in the General forum. That might be a mitzvot.

57 days. I have been practicing the "white" days from several days. I try to identify a person I can help and then help them. I try to pick someone that doesn't know me or won't feel obligated or indebted. The days you focus on others instead of yourself seem to be the happiest and are certainly more fulfilling.
I gave a major speech last night at the club. It went fantastic.

60 days. Things are going great. I have found that I can not watch certain TV channels at certain times. There is too much junk on them. These aren't a trigger problem, they are simply annoying. Why there is so much junk on TV is a disgrace.

I am very busy today. I have a lot of work to get done before my vacation. Recover-wise things are going well.

Hi 1dayatatime You really seem to be doing well at the moment! I just wanted to pop in and say I really like the idea of these 'white days', it's certainly the little things in life that make the biggest difference, I always find. Hey and I hope you have a fantastic vacation! You've been really doing the work here for for so long, you deserve a good time with your wife. All the best, Valjean
