Hi all, I had disabled something on my computer that did not allow me to get new posts Hi JohnG, Wow! You are working so hard and it is so nice that you are sharing your journey with all of us. I appreciate it very much. God bless and keep up the great work. Rosie

Another photo of one of the views from up the dirt road. This is at the top of the hill, about a twenty minute hike up the hill behind the house. I hope someday I am in a place to be able to date women again - I would love to have a picnic up here. Of course I could (and have - and will again) go by myself. It is just that if ever there was a place to take a girl, a basket of food, and a blanket, this is it...

Hi JohnG, God bless you and I hope you do have an opportunity to share this with a woman someday because it is very beautiful and spiritual. You are working so hard in every way and you deserve a partner and someone to love you and share who you are.
You are very intuned to others and that to me is the key to staying sober and doing the right things for a relationship. God bless you and thank you so much for the photos and your sincere efforts that make me want to be a better person. Rosie

Perfect spot for a picnic. Picture reminds me of a walk I took in the hills of Loire Valley, France. Beautiful. I hope you can share it with someone someday but if you can enjoy and appreciate it alone, you're doing better than most.

This morning I planted two packets of corn seed. I had a friend send it from the U.S. - corn is cultivated here for animal feed and corn flour but rarely is it sold for human consumption on the ear. So I tilled a section of my property that abuts the neighbor's property. They told me that it had been tilled last year and so would be easier to turn over. That may have been true but it was back breaking work all the same:

I burned a lot of junk wood from the demolition work today - plank that I have been pulling up from the first floor that is no good - some doors that were rotted and other odds and ends. In this view of the house you can also see a lot of the debris that I have been removing from the house (both on the back side and in front) and also the reusable brick I have recovered (for building retaining walls - very little of this brick is pretty - it is a hollow brick that has no decorative value).

These guys thought they were getting a treat when I came to do some pruning on a tree at the fence line (the neighbor gives them stale bread rather than throw it away):

Hi JohnG, The sheep look like they are posing for you. They did also in the other photo. Real beautiful and you can see all the work from when you started to these photos.
Thank you so much. I look forward to seeing the photos so much and your progress. God bless you and keep up the great work. Rosie

Thanks FJ and Rosie.
The advantage of having a digital camera - I can take twenty photos and one might come out pretty good. I couldn't believe the sheep - they did just line up for me. There was a crowd of them just moments before but when most of them realized there was nothing there for them they moved on, leaving these two who were slightly more hopeful.
It is really nice to hear the feedback. I spend most of my day on the house and then come back to my little studio apartment in the neighbor's house and it is pretty lonely here, so all comments are really really appreciated. You have no idea how much.
Here is my little apartment - not seen are the little kitchen and bathroom with shower. Yes, the those are boxes of glassware holding up the desk (but Villeroy & Boch - I only use good crystal to hold up my desk). And yes, the desk itself is a radiator - I bought ten of them on eBay (Spain) for 250 euros with hardly any use. So with my limited space I have found creative ways to store some of my stuff (what is not in actual storage).
And finally, yes those teddy bears are mine. They were gifts from my ex and as sappy as it sounds they are my only company at night now. However, because of their small size and passive nature they sometimes end up on the floor during the night.
PS - that was No-Porn (before the recently updated format) on the computer.

"... their passive nature..."
HAHAHAHA. You're quite funny. My teddy is bigger, but he winds up on the floor sometimes, too.
Will have to take a pic of my flower garden modified last weekend and post it in my journal. Not sure if you know, but I made an awesome friend on here a couple years ago (cflanders). She came to visit me last year and then again this year (14-16 hour drive one way). One of the things we did this year was work more on the garden. We also went whitewater rafting in the mountains. Those pics are in my journal.
Not sure why I said all that. I'm just in a happy mood today and wanted to chat about non-porn related stuff.
And hml, you totally cracked me up with the goat comment.

Please let me know when you do I would like to see your garden. I also have made a friend here - I hope I get to actually meet him someday. If it wasn't for him I probably would not be sober today. Sounds like a good enough reason to me. I agree with Hml. Goats have evil eyes. JohnG

We had a pet goat when I was little. His name was Julio. He wasn't evil but a bit passive as he too fell out of the bed at night. Cute sheep. Give them a treat next time. Baaaa.

Ursula I will give them a treat and I will post a picture of it here. There will be no project photos today I think. I don't feel like working today - partly because very shortly the neighbors' daughter will arrive with her boyfriend. They live in the CITY. I want to hang out with the fancy city people today and hear all about the new fangled things they have there. I am so excited! However, here is a picture from www.underhmlsbedcam/images/very/scary.html : Images temporarily disabled by webmaster.i59.photobucket.com/albums/g320/shanroche/49.jpg[/IMG] JohnG
