Yo Dude,
I hope you are well and I am sorry that I have been MIA for what seems like ages.
My mother board catastrophically failed! There was a loud pop, a blue flash and acrid smoke coming out of the case. This turn of events delighted my SO, as no PC means no porn, I have also been banned from purchasing a new computer, but sanctions are about to be lifted and I have been saving me pennies to buy another. At the mo I am on my mates PC whilst he is in the kitchen on coffee duty, so I haven't got too much time. I haven't had chance to read your journal, I came straight here to let you know that I'm cool. I really hope that you are hanging in there. I'm not sure when I'm going to be online again full time, hopefully it will be over the weekend, but I'm still waiting on an SO Resolution allowing me to take a trip down to PCWorld. As soon as I get back online I'll check in with you again.
Take care.
Lemontea

sawyer, Thanks for dropping by my journal. I have said it before but I need to say it again, your support is appreciated more than you can ever know of I can express. In your journal you talk about your walk is your own and your are right but I live vicariously the 12 steps through you. I cannot venture out on my own but I appreciate you sharing your work. I am very proud you chose me to mentor and encourage and I hope to one day "pay it forward". Thanks for everything. But mostly thanks for just being here. want2quit22

Geoff - thank you very much for stopping by, it is much appreciated and I truly hope all is going well. WTQ22 - I did not chose you to mentor, I chose to help a fellow addict be it you or another. I am just glad you can gleam some useful information off my own walk because sometimes I wonder if I am even getting what I need . Keep the course my friend and keep posting.

Have you heard yet if he will be your sponsor? And why aren't you doing more than one meeting a week? I have to drive a total of about six hours each week to make three meetings (AA - not even SA meetings). If you have relatively easy access to more than one meeting a week and you are in early recovery you probably need to be grateful this guy called you on it. I did about 100 meeting in 90 days when I got sober from booze. I wanted it REAL bad. Though I was rebellious in other ways, one this I got real quick was that my recovery required lots of meetings. I still believe that today. I hope you are well and I am sorry to hear you are struggling but as ever I am impressed by your perseverance. You don't give up and you look inward with real honesty and in the end that is what is going to allow you to find your path. Your friend always, JohnG

JohnG, I had a really good response for you but apparently I lost my post and I don't have time to retype and I am off to bed with my wife. I will expand on your question of "why only a meeting a week" later. However, I did want to repost some multiple journal updates.
