Hey, I'm in too. I'm on day 26 right now, but I'll join the rest of you in shooting for May 23rd - and then perhaps starting another goal together.
I see a couple of potential stumbling points ahead and would like to be accountable to you guys when I enter those times so that we can stand together.

OK. Sign me up. What else happens? Does this mean i'm on a someones list or what? Or is this just a good goal we all agree to? Hey, whatever. 100 days should be easy because I'm in this for life. LET'S DO IT.

John,
I'm in.
Thanks for sharing your story. Obviously family is important to you. Me too. Let's let the thought of them help to be our motivation.
Peace Benny

I'll join. I'm currently on day 45, a record for me. We've got to remember to keep bouncing this thread to the top whenever possible.

I'm bouncing it up and joining in. May 23rd here we come!
Excellent idea to do this together as a group. If anyone trips and stumbles, we all stop and pick him up.
over and out

I renew my proposal that we don't finish until all of us finishes 100 days. In other words, we may have our individual sobriety lengths, but as a group, we count the smallest. When one slips, we all start over, and we celebrate when the last one of us crosses the 100-day finish line.
Here are the people who seem to have expressed interest so far.

If you are on this list, please respond with your sobriety date (# days sober) so that we can keep track. If you're not on this list and you want to be, please chime in, too.
Be well, Al Feb. 5 (9 days sober)

Hey I’ll jump in the same boat! Let’s all get sober. I second raj with: “If anyone trips and stumbles, we all stop and pick him up.” I’m on day 1 but I desperately need some solid foundation for my sobriety. I can’t take it any more. I guess it can be 100 days at a time! By the time I reach 100 I’ll have 200 euros to buy my iPod which I still haven’t got. One of the worse mistakes that I made when I lasted 221 days sober was that I forgot to put every day my 2 euros on the piggy bank. So there were weeks when I just had to pay for my sobriety when ever I felt like collecting the money from the cash dispenser. It doesn’t work like that. I have to pay for my sobriety every day, a day at a time. I guess this will be probably the most expensive club on the internet since the price that we all have paid to get here is astronomical. Lets not pay it twice & get sober for once & for all. Together!!!! Great idea john!

Hey guys I am feeling so boosted right now ! Reading how we are all motivated make me stronger !! You know that feeling when you just slipped and that you are ready to go back and fight ? that how I feel right now ! With the time I spend on this web , I have less time to think about other things. I also started a reading a nice book. That’s time that I won’t spend watching things that will trigger other things. I am at a point where I also want to watch “American Idol” ! Innocent things like that won’t for sure bring up other need ! Today I just learn that a friend of mine who is pregnant may have cancer. That made me re enforced my need to become clean ! On a daily basis. To become a better person, to try to not judge etc.. There are little things that we can do on our end that can make a difference ! We are not perfect ! We are human but it is also too easy to hide behind it ! I f I slip may wish is to come clean right away ! That will help me not dealing with that emotion alone.
Wolfy you said that are 23 days without P but you have MB. Personally for me one brings the other. Or worst, it brings fantasies ! I put fantasies at the same level than P. I need to MB will end up triggering both.
Thank you again
John Day 04 Going strong !!!

I'm in as well. Right now I have 3 weeks of sobriety. And although this is my personal best, I do not want to slip ever again.
Let's do this the right way, my friends. White knuckling is not going to get us to day 100. We have to make this our #1 priority right now. With prayer and mutual support we can be free from lust.
After I am 2-3 weeks clean, I start hearing a little voice inside my head. "Go ahead, its okay." "Think of how good it will feel." "Why give up MB? What are you some kind of Monk?"
Do you guys hear these voices too? That is our addict talking and we need help to push it away. We need each other's support.
Best of luck to all of you. We're in this together.

Wow! 100 days is a lot, considering my record is only 37. Well, today is day 3 for me (Someone else was also on day 3 as well.) Let's see who will make it.

Bump to the top
I have just counted- I am 164 days sober. But I still want to join in this because I will soon hit my 6 month mark and I am afraid that might give me an "excuse to act out." So May 23rd it is for me (or later if someone falls, but I am sure we can do this!)

We don't have an hazing in this club, right? I hate going around wearing a shower cap and singing on campus...

I'm not a Seinfeld watcher, but I did watch the episode where they all competed to see who could go without MB the longest. That's what this thread reminds me of. Interesting..... funny on TV, sad and difficult in real life. Maybe we should all get one of those flea collars they put on animals so that we can't touch ourselves. Can you imagine explaining to everyone why the heck you have it on? And then when they repulse, just tell them, "well at least I don't lick myself."
