Well I'm signing on for the rest of December. I have a problem with Retarded Ejaculation. I have never cum during sex before. The only way I've done it is through self masturbation.
I think my penis is just to used to the sensation from masturbation and that if I stop masturbating for a while then have sex hopefully it will be more stimuating and I can cum inside a girl. This is a really big problem that affects my relationships.
So. Day 1 is now. Please help me stay clear of MB

Thank you and good luck on your journey to recovery. SPD

Thank you and good luck on your journey to recovery. SPD I was simply explaining why porn and MB has such a bad effect on my life. This is a forum to help people quit porn.. and it seems to me the first step is to be honest with your problem. Why are others trying to quit?

Hi all - checking in, and still free of P - a total of 43 days now.
Hi dontdoit - great to have you with us. It's not really the main cause of this thread, but as I thought it might help others, here are my reasons for wanting to quit P:
1. Moral reasons - I am a Christian, and don't think it's right, but this is far from the only reason (see below) 2. It has become a huge addiction for me and although I have tried to quit many times over the years, it has a strong hold on me, and I don't like that 3. It is a highly secret act - it made me lie to my wife about what I was doing on the computer and neglect her for hours on end. 4. I am really scared that one day it might lead to other things (you don't have to look too far on this board to see what it has led to in others - marriage breakdown, etc) 5. It promises things which it doesn't deliver (acceptance, love, emotion) but it just leaves me wanting more - it is a lie - P does not care for me, it hates me, and just wants to increase its stranglehold. 6. I want freedom - to no longer be a slave to my addiction.
By the way, dontdoit, I don't think SPD was meaning to be rude, it's just that it's kind of a custom on this board to stay away from too graphic descriptions. Some people are easily offended, and other people can be triggered off into graphic thoughts, and this can really hamper their recovery. I appreciate your honesty and openness, though.

It isn't appropriate to post "cumming inside a girl" because NP isn't a men's group. There are women on this board and you should show some respect for them.

I'm not sure whether the posts have increased or decreased today - I've come here a few times and not posted because I couldn't think of what to say in the situation.
dontdoit - Perhaps you could use the trigger codes (the gun with the red circle around it) in the "reply" options (rather than the quick reply) in the future - just type out what you want, then highlight any potentially triggering bits and click the button. Either way, I wish you good luck in your continued recovery - keep posting on this forum and actively work your recovery.
Why I have quit: P and MB in the past have sucked up a lot of my time, left me lethargic and tired due to disrupted sleep (waiting till everyone else is asleep) and in general have lead me to neglect my goals, friends and other things that are important to me.
6 Sleeps till Christmas. Stay strong everyone and keep posting in this thread, whether you're just joining now, have fallen in December or are doing well.
I wish you all good luck.

I should know better than to stay away from the board for very long. I just had my first (definite) slip in 25 days. It's interesting that I'm concerned about getting caught on this website at home, yet that rationale flies out the window when I get triggered. I need to post on the board even when I'm not tempted to reinforce. I haven't felt tempted as much over the past week, and I was caught out of practice. 25 days is the longest I've had in about a year, so I guess that's a good thing. I will try to stay clean for the rest of the month and make a firm New Year's resolution.

Hi everyone. Sorry to hear about your slip bilh119, but glad to hear that you're aiming to use your 25 days as a springboard for 2008.
It's 20 December - we're 2/3 of the way there. At the end of the year it would be great to have a New Year's resolution of the whole of 2008 without P. I'll have to consider this and work out if I've got the resolve to give it a go. Anyone else feel the same?
