Hey all, I'm new to the board and I'm starting my P free December now (better late than never.) I can't claim today, so tomorrow will be day 1. I had it out with my wife earlier tonight. We've had discussions before and I don't know why I never tried harder before now.
I figure by starting now, being P free for two weeks will be a good Christmas present for myself and my wife.
I know I don't know any of you, but if you don't see me posting on here for a couple days, drop me a line at nrobinsonpe@yahoo.com.
Good luck everyone. And wish me luck--I need it.

Welcome desperate and all others whoa re joining us late. What we are striving for is just to be P free for the rest fo the month. Simply to feel GREAT about ourselves come December 31st. To begin the new year with a light heart, happy in the knowledge that we have some P free days below our belt, and resolved to make 2008 a year of GREAT recovery for all of us who are serious about changing our lives and removing P and MB from our daily routine. Join us if you are seeking true relief and happiness for you and your life.

For the past 2 month I have been very weak. I binge and stop and the cycle continues. Let me find the strength to stop from this day onwards.

Well, SPD, I may be back to zero as well, unfortunately, but I will leave it up to the board to decide... So I'm not sure if I can claim a P free December anymore. I would appreciate some input on this. Hi bilh1119, In my opinion, for what it's worth, this does not put you back at zero. I think you need to be more careful in future, however every slip I have experienced has been a whole lot more serious than this. If I was watching a movie with my wife, for example, and there was a nude scene, I would not feel too comfortable about it, but would not call this indulging in P and to have "slipped". I've fallen enough times to know that I don't want to go pointing the finger at other people. That said, I think the best course of action is to run away from any temptation - as fast as possible! Anyway, enough from me - It's December 11 and I'm still clean! Chad

To brandnewlife, desparate and nrobinson. Welcome to the thread, I hope you all feel welcome here. I wish each and everyone of you good luck with your recovery effort. You should all keep active in your recovery effort, both here and elsewhere - continue to post here, I find it helps re-affirm my desire to recovery each time I post.
It is good that you've taken this first step, but you all must keep walking in order to recover.
I'm checking in clean again. Thank you to goggles for this thread, and to everyone else who has participated in it for giving me hope and also keeping the thread active.

This must be a very busy thread as my post yesterday seems to have got mixed in with other posts and somehow ended up being repeated! Maybe technical problems!
Anyway - welcome to the newcomers to this thread - keep up the good work everyone.
12 December and still clean - half way to Christmas!
Chad
