Today will be 2 weeks clean - if I make it through the day. Usually I can feel that urge calling at my 2 or 3 week mark - almost like clockwork. So I'm checking in this morning to make a promise to stay clean today & to ask for your prayers & support in today's efforts. I'm going to stay away from the internet for the rest of the day, so I'll check in again tomorrow.
God Bless, Deacon Blues

Deacon,
You are in my prayers. I join you in saying
I will be sober just for today.

DB - my thoughts are with you. Getting thru my first 30 days was scary, but you get to count in months thereafter!
take care

I hear that - the two week mark. I've had so much difficulty getting over that. A few attempts previous, I made it 23 days. You and I can both do better. Best of luck, Deacon Blues.

I made it through yesterday pretty smoothly. Not wasting time online helped a lot. It's amazing how much work you can get done when you're actually working! So I'm going to re-affirm my pledge today to stay clean (today is the calendar two-week mark - two Wednesdays ago was my last slip) & to stay offline, so I'll check in tomorrow. Thanks for the prayers & support.
God Bless, Deacon Blues

I just passed my two week mark, and yes, the urges get pretty terrible. You are in my prayers. Let's live in today and forget about tomorrow... Tomorrow will come and when tomorrow comes, that's when you can worry about it.
Stay strong, and God bless!
