Hi,
It occurred to me that, once engaged in recovery efforts, I'm finding that P/MB can be likened to a buffet table in which all the food turns out to be basically tasteless. It all looks great, draws you in, is very tempting, but once you start to eat it's all quite unsatisfying, unfulfilling, and no longer has much appeal, or at the least does not anywhere match your expectations. Hope this thought helps someone....

SD,
How about P/MB is like eating Chinese, no matter how much you eat you are hungry an hour later and want more?

Well....I appreciate trying to expand on the analogy...but...to be honest...Chinese fills me up pretty good! But...thanks for adding to my thread! Whatever works for you and all of us is ok with me....

Hi SD,
I'm with you on the buffet table that looks so appetising and attractive, but when you get into it is tasteless and leaves a bitter feeling. It does draw me in, but now that I am more enlightened (35 days clean) I know that it does not satisfy.
Keep away from that kind of food!
