Welcome to the journal section of this web site. Thank you "1975" for suggesting this. It is open to addicts and partners of addicts.
This board can only be contributed to by registered members. I don't know how to transfer the journals that are already on the general board, so you may want to create a link in your first journal entry to any previous journal thread you may already have.
As with all our forums, the style here will evolve based on the users needs and wants, but I might suggest that this is not a place to give a lot of advice. The other forums meet this need where there is more of a discussion feel. Here, we might think of a principle often used in 12-step groups: "No Cross Talk Please." I'm not going to go so far as to say it here, but it could be a general guideline. If you're seeking advice or want more conversation use the General or Partners forums. Just a thought.

Good thought, and I think that out to be a rule. If any one would like to post comments in my thread that is fine with me, as i am sure it may be for some of the other journalers here, but I don't think this thread ought to be used for anything else. JMO

Thanks Wes for setting this up.
A number of us seem comfortable, even glad, to see people post comments on our journals. Those of us in that category seem to post that in the journal, I'm even going so far as to ask questions (many of which may end up being unanswered).
Private Messages are another good way to respond to thoughts shared in journals.
Another thought, for more discussion-based journal entries, I am experimenting with copying some of that text into new threads on the discussion board, where people will be more likely to read & respond to it.
