cammy, I have faith in you on many levels. You've got your head on straight, so keep it that way. I know you will succeed today with your client and your wife won't go into labor while at the doctor (at least I hope she doesn't ) Check in and let us know that you're doing fine and so is your wife. [btw CV thanks for the smile] MrOuch

Cammy,
Hang in there. I KNOW you will do the right thing, with your client and with your sobriety.
Relax, channel the fear, use it, turn the mother(expletive)er around and let the negative energy power you. We talked about this yesterday, fear and anger, flip sides of the same coin. Get angry and use the anger, fear is retreat, proactive. You KNOW HOW TO BE ACTIVE, TO RE CHANNEL. YOU HAVE DONE IT FOR THREE MONTHS OF RECOVERY.
focus on the immediate situation and deal with it, one step, one issue at a time. fear overwhelms us, scatters us. Focus in and GET IT DONE AND MOVE ON.
All the best.
CV, YOU are the last one to be making bad hair jokes. Don't apes groom each other to remove lice?

cammy was breakingfree and a chasmjumper too. He ran like a three legged dog using his gracebyfaith to work 1dayatatime because he had betterthingsinlife to do than neil before lamebetrayed acting out. He was clean2day and learning2bebetter so he could begin anew and not sail like a curious voyager into Healing Rain. Things were lookingup for the brighterside being completelydone with addiction and deaconblues was playing in the Rorke's Drift accompanied by MrOuch on the capillarain with lead vocals by S outhernGuy who could belt out Big Country tunes. Things are good today in Mayberry because i ngodwetrust not to falter and have darknessfalls on our weepingwillow heads. Cammy knows imtheoneincontrol doesn't matter if he slips and somedood isn't there to catch sillyrabbit with zerotolerance for cereal from being hurtandlonely and 2tiredtodeal with excuses. CindyandBen would be devastated and there would be no hugs4u002 and no amount of AmazingGrace would bear witness to neverending heartsinhealing dazedandconfused by hurtmylove. So Cammy will go stepbystep until ItsTime and he is facingit and able to choselife over googles bad searches and eat a straightpepperdiet with cheese and yackers. Then serenity4me time will belong to cammy who can work from home like a JohnG should. Wow, CV. This deserves some serious consideration for post of the millenium. What an illustration of our community here. Cammy, you have my support, prayers and faith. I think it is natural to be scared (expletive)less when expecting your first child. No two ways about it. You are feeling real emotion, and congratulations on having the courage to do that. Think of the tragedy that would have been if you allowed P to rob you of this experience... and what's even worse, think of how screwed up you would be because that emotion of fear would still be there smoldering in your subconscious but you would not be aware of it because you had numbed yourself out with P.

When I got homne after meeting client, DW told me she had done a bunch of Xmas shopping/wrapping. We talked about safe words etc and how I may change the scope of my caseload to some degree. I got on the board and updated that all OK, surfed around here a bit. This AM Mrs. Cammy chooses to stay home, I choose to work. Life is in it's balance. This is gud. . Thanks for the follow-up and of course your earlier post was the best I had ever read.

Be careful and don't slip in the snow and hit your head, you could end up in the hospital in a cammytose condition.
