Today i got snowed in thanks to 40 cm of snow. Accomplished everything i needed today inside my house. Went on my computer in the late evening, then the after hours came and you all pretty much know the rest. Mouse buttons started clicking and P + MB happened.
Felt pretty crappy after it all happened, i thought to myself i was 48 days clean and i gave in. However im not gonna dwell on it anymore, i cant blame it on anything else cause its all my fault and im the one who gave in. Ill just take it as a learning experience, as to the results of a slip. Now its just square one all over again, im just gonna do what i did to stay clean before. Tomorrow is a new day and its the beginning of day 1 all over again...

That's a long streak. I haven't had that type of abstinence in like 3 or 4 years. Sorry about your slip 7, hope you climb back up that chart w/o anymore of those. I almost slipped today... I was literally just a mouse click away.

7 I don't know much about you and hope you don't mind me posting like this. The Jesus says, "I have come to set the captives free." It also tells us that we are either Slaves to sin or free in Christ.
I asked my pastor, "What is it to be free?" He looked at me and said, "Ask a Slave."
Think about it, You were free for 48 days.... You can be free again! The real question here is what do you believe the differance is between a slave and a free person.
To me: A Slave does What he is told, When he is told and Because he is told. A Free Man is able to make his own choice.
You Too Can Be Free!!!! One Day At A Time.

Se7en, Give yourself credit for coming back and posting about your slip. Learn from it, be stronger in your recovery because of it. One day at a time. Today is a new day, my brother. BTW., www.recoverynation.com/. Good site, good stuff. Stay strong, stay the course. bf

se7en (great movie by the way)
like bf said, I give yourself credit for admitting that you did indeed slip, even after such a long time.
Being on the other side of the long term abstinance fence (I'm on day 5 today), I've found out the hard way how hard it is to post about slippage. You can see, if you take a look, that I've had 3 day 3's in about 3 weeks. Both of those slips really made me NOT want to post here about it; it was such a short time, who would notice? But the mere act of admitting that you slipped means you're acknowledging that, while it happenened, and life will go on and you'll get back on the horse, its disappointing to you and the act is still unacceptable in your mind.
Stay strong dude, get back on the horse, and this tme hit 96 day and counting! As Rob Schnieder said in that classic film "Waterboy":
YOU CAN DO IT!

I know that sometimes a slip can bring you down and some experts do not believe it is a good idea because of the letdown if you slip.
I think keeping a tally keeps me in check. Although, a slip can bring you down. To keep these two concepts together I also keep a cumulative total. That way I can see how much I have gained over a period of time. To date:
P: current steak: 5 days best streak: 64 days (new record) Cumulative total: 116 days since August 18, 2007.
