The photographer could potentially have copyright protection. But chances are he never copyrighted it, if it has circulated the internet that much. Photographers do not have to file copyright for every image they shoot. Once it's created, it's copyrighted. (As a Certified Professional Photographer, I'm happy to say that the Professional Photographers Association worked long and hard for that to be true.) I am assuming that this particular photograph was a candid snapshot taken by a non-professional; or a royalty-free image in a stock photography library. If it is the latter, it's a possibility that this strip club purchased the image from that library. If that's the case, it's legal. Distasteful; but legal. Benderson
