Whever he is I hope he is taking good care of the NP Lamb that we collectively adopted, saved from slaughter, and collectively and with love decided to name Snowflake. Remember our little guy? How do you say sheep in Spanish? I forget.
And I hope the cement floors dried ok. I am really disappointed that I didn't get to see the final floor covering choices and window treatments. Dammit. Seriously. That is like someone taking your really fabulous book from you when you just have 100 pages left to go.
I am also wondering how that crazy snapping lizard is doing and hoping that John didn't accidentally eat that giant mushroom.
John, break time is over!! Time to come back now. Hope you are well.

You will never outrun the beast - it will never tire of chasing you before you exhaust yourself first.
You will never successfully hide from the beast - it knows of cunning ways to search you out and find your hiding places.
It thinks that you will never fight back - it thinks of itself as large and looming, all powerful and domineering - how dare anyone try to fight the beast.
Then one day, your legs won't allow you to run any further from it because of sheer exhaustion, the number of hiding places will run out - no where left to hide... The beast catches up to you and for the first time, instead of running or hiding or cowering, you turn to face the beast only to find out the beast is actually .......... (you know what to fill in here).
And then you start dealing with this terrible beast that has no place in your life. YOU take control and remove the beast's control over you - with whatever means YOU find necessary.
John G, stop fueling the beast. Stop feeding it energy by allowing it to retain control. Stop letting it dominate you. Let it stand there next to you and you start putting the beast in its place. Then eventually you will send the beast packing, never to return again. But only if you stop playing its game.
Love,
Christy
